Your impact: Driven by our continued growth, increased market share and success, we’re expanding our Land Quality and Remediation team, of over 70 ground contamination specialists. With a number of new roles created, you will join our well established industry leading team, developing and delivering innovative geo-environmental solutions to a significant portfolio of diverse and high-impact flagship projects across multiple sectors, including those addressing emerging contaminants such as PFAS.

Remit of these new roles include:

  • Support geo-environmental assessments across all project phases, including Phase 1 desk studies, Phase 2 intrusive site investigations, interpretive reporting, and Phase 3 remediation strategy, design, implementation, and validation.
  • Develop and implement strategies for land quality assessment and remediation, integrating them into complex multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with planning, environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and deliver risk assessments for land contamination, including human health, controlled waters alongside the built and natural environments.
  • Provide technical guidance, support and mentorship to colleagues and peers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, personal development alongside the growth of our solutions and capability.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices, including emerging contaminants such as PFAS and microplastics.

Here's what you'll need: We would welcome applications from candidates with a good mix of the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to build strong relationships that drive successful project outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Chartered or working toward Chartered status.
  • Demonstrable experience in geo-environmental consultancy.
  • Excellent understanding of environmental legislation and risk assessment methodologies such as LCRM, BS10175 and ASTM.
  • Have a track record in safely and effectively delivering land contamination intrusive investigations and monitoring/sampling programmes.
  • Possess a robust understanding of land contamination sampling protocols.
  • A sound understanding of the challenges faced with emerging contaminants such as PFAS.
  • Good digital data assessment expertise.
