At Jacobs, we’re tackling the world’s most critical problems across cities, environments, and infrastructures. We invite a quantity surveyor early in their career to support our major highways projects in the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting delivery of major highways schemes across the South East, specifically for a major project in Essex.
- Applying cost intelligence principles to improve project performance.
- Working across pre-contract and post-contract phases.
- Producing cost estimates, forecasts, and reports that drive decision-making.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across clients, consultants and contractors.
Qualifications
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
- Consultant level experience in quantity surveying, especially highways.
- Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract estimating.
- Exposure to consultancy environments (or a mix of consultancy and contractor experience).
- Understanding of cost intelligence / data-driven cost management.
- A proactive mindset with a desire to learn, question, and grow.
- South East based – Essex or National Highways Schemes.
