What You Can Expect From The Role
- Be accountable for embedding our social value approach within sales, articulating and defining our added value for UK clients and opportunities across the region.
- Develop winning social value offers and author clear, thoughtful responses aligned with our commercial goals and wider business priorities.
- Manage the handover between sales and project delivery to ensure projects are set up to succeed.
- Evaluate feedback and trends to evolve our approach.
- Develop and maintain resources, knowledge management, training and tools to improve the sales and bidding process for social value.
- Collaborate with sales teams to promote and define our social value capabilities and contribution.
- Assist in gathering evidence from across the business on our social value performance and initiatives.
What You\'ll Need / Qualifications
- Previous Social Value Sales experience in the UK Infrastructure market is desirable, with a proven ability to produce social value procurement responses for large or complex projects.
- Ability to challenge and think strategically, with strong communication and leadership to inspire others.
- Client focus and the ability to author winning social value responses aligned with commercial goals.
- Knowledge of social value challenges, solutions, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good interpersonal skills to lead meetings and workshops and to build relationships across Growth & Sales and Operations.
- Experience engaging with supply chain partners and potential to grow within Jacobs’ Growth & Sales team.
