What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated and manual test solutions.
  • Define testing requirements and acceptance criteria in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and non‑functional testing activities.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the wider engineering community.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience with automation frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, or Cucumber.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, functional testing techniques, and defect tracking systems.
  • Expertise in writing clean, maintainable code using languages such as Java, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Employment Conditions

This role is subject to UK Security Vetting at SC (security check) level. Applicants must be willing to undergo the appropriate security clearance process if not already cleared. If you’re successful in your application, we’ll ask you to undergo the relevant vetting process to achieve SC/DV clearance. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon satisfactory completion of the relevant clearance process. This is a full‑time, permanent, hybrid (2‑3 days/week) role, with occasional business travel across the UK. Full‑time employment at Jacobs is based on a 40‑hour working week.
