About the Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to work as a QA/QC site Inspector. The Role of the QA/QC Inspector will report to the Quality Manager and support the site Quality Lead team. • To deliver a high quality, consistent and competent before, during and welding Inspection in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures; • To ensure that all work scope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment; • Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the welding work scope is completed safely and to a high standard; • Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches; • Provide inspection support to construction activities where required, as part of an integrated multi-discipline team; • To compile complete quality documentation in accordance with company and contractual requirements; • To have thorough knowledge of fabrication and NDT techniques. VT, PT & MT; • To have thorough knowledge of QC Inspection and Dimensional Inspection techniques; All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & certification: • CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector or 3.2 senior welding inspector • CSWIP/ PCN Level II, Penetrant Testing Desired Qualifications: • PCN Level II, Magnetic Particle Inspection • PCN Level II, Radiographic Interpretation • BGAS-CSWIP/ICorr/NACE Coatings Inspector • DV/SC clearance Experience: • ≥5 Years’ Experience as a Welding Inspector; • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety; Any offer of employment will be strictly subject to the relevant security requirements for the role being met. This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. The security clearance process may require non-British nationals or dual nationals (i.e. those with British and another nationality) to be subject to additional evaluation, depending on nationalities held and the nature of the work to be carried out.
