Overview
Our Energy & Power Sales Operations Team has an immediate need for an experienced and ambitious Proposal Manager to lead some of our largest opportunities within the UK and Ireland. This is a great opportunity for an established sales professional with an interest in the Energy & Power sector, or someone who wants to get involved in the early stages of a fast-growing new business unit. We have a significant existing pipeline of opportunities, and we are looking for someone who is proactive, highly organised, resilient and passionate about winning work. Current or previous experience as a Proposal Manager or Senior Proposal Coordinator is essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of large opportunities within the UK and Ireland for the Energy & Power sector.
- Coordinate and drive submission readiness, ensuring timely, compelling proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop win themes, pricing, and proposal content.
- Guide and motivate teams on multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring strategic thinking and constructive challenge.
- Manage communication with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the proposal process.
- Proactively manage risks and issues to maintain proposal quality and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proactive, highly organised, and resilient with a strong passion for winning work.
- Experience in operational sales is preferred; internal candidates with operational insight are welcome.
- Proven ability to lead teams on multi-disciplinary projects, think strategically, and communicate effectively.
- Excellent writing and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive change.
