About The Opportunity
Do you want to be at the forefront of driving our company strategy and at the heart of growing our business? Are you passionate about winning work for our teams? Within our P&PS Buildings and Infrastructure European Growth & Sales team, we have an immediate requirement for Proposal Coordinators to work on some of our region’s largest sales pursuits and opportunities. This role will expose you to the heart of the business, sitting at the forefront of delivering on our Strategy European Roadmap.
Our Proposal Coordinators support the disciplined application of our Relationship Based Sales process to achieve successful growth outcomes for the business. This role will provide the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our sales process and hands-on experience of the various roles and functions, providing a sound foundation for a career in Growth and Sales.
Your enthusiasm for working as part of a driven and disciplined team, with a motivation to overcome hurdles and obstacles to find solutions is essential for success. Working day-to-day on Middle and End Game activities, you will support the development of win strategies and compelling sales messages, working with Growth & Sales and Operations colleagues across all sectors to convert these into winning offers for our largest and most strategic pursuits. This role requires drive, diligence, and a curious, inquisitive nature, challenging our teams to identify innovative solutions to respond to our clients’ and society’s greatest challenges.
Applicants can be contracted to either our London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow or Dublin offices. We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver their best work.
Here's what you'll need
- Experience of working within successful teams on large and/or complex projects.
- Good communicators, with a disciplined approach, attention to detail, and a passion to win.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to establish and meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational and research skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to manage, coordinate, write, review, and edit text, graphics, and metrics for sales documents such as proposals, qualifications, and presentation slides.
- Ability to grow a good internal network across the business and our employee networks.
- Previous sales experience is desirable, but not essential, and all technical and professional backgrounds will be considered.
