Responsibilities

  • Lead cross‑functional innovative engineering and technology initiatives and pilot systems including membrane bioreactors and anaerobic digestion.
  • Develop process flow diagrams and layout plans for wastewater treatment and sewer networks.
  • Select appropriate treatment technologies (e.g., MBR, SBR) and implement corrective actions to restore optimal performance.
  • Project manage the delivery of wastewater infrastructure throughout a project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement process optimisation solutions.
  • Collaborate with civil, mechanical and electrical engineers on plant new builds and upgrades.
  • Drive the design, build and asset management of high‑value CAPEX programmes for wastewater treatment systems, pumping stations and sewer networks.

Qualifications

  • Experience in water and/or wastewater networks or treatment works.
  • Knowledge of mass water conveyance, heat transfer, bio‑resources and waste‑to‑energy technologies.
  • Project engineering/management experience.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
  • Chartered status (CEng) or equivalent recognised professional institute membership.
