Your impact: Jacobs has secured multiple multi-year Frameworks and Projects with leading Clients in the UK, Ireland and across the Globe. Water is looking for skilled and highly motivated people that are looking to grow their careers in exciting new ways to deliver on these fantastic opportunities in the Water Industry and beyond. Successful candidates will join our team of nearly 600 water professionals, who work on a range of high-profile projects. They will become part of a World Leading Company with excellent career prospects. You could be delivering project tasks, designs and in a multi-disciplinary, multi-company environment on water and wastewater infrastructure and facilities at various stages in the project life cycle, working within our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budget.
We are looking for experienced Process Engineers across various grades to join our teams in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle Upon Tyne and Warrington to reinforce our existing team and further support our frameworks with UK Water Companies. We’re happy to discuss hybrid, part-time and flexible working hours, patterns and locations to suit you and our business. We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver their best work.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- A Masters Degree or equivalent in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or similar
- Achieved Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institution
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- water and/or wastewater networks
- water and/or wastewater treatment works
- mass water conveyance
- bioresource
