Your impact includes:
- Providing tunnelling leadership and direction to multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Ensuring the completion of projects and packages of work to agreed budgets and programme.
- Fostering and building a collaborative culture with clients, colleagues and outside agencies.
- Building effective working relationships with colleagues, customer stakeholders and outside agencies.
- Identifying and utilising technological advances to improve quality, results and efficiency.
- Expediting schemes from inception to design completion.
- Quality control and checking deliverables.
- Writing and producing technical reports.
- Mentoring colleagues, aiding both personal and career development.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Demonstrable expertise in Tunnel design.
- MICE Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent).
- Track record in the design for the design and build market.
- Experience interfacing directly with clients and building collaborative relationships.
- A sound academic and technical knowledge of civil/tunnel engineering.
- Knowledge of relevant European codes and standards.
- Proficient in software such as Plaxis, FLAC, MIDAS and/or SAP.
- Team player but with an ability to work independently and manage small teams as required.
- Planning & organisational skills.
- Motivated to deliver high quality.
- Commitment to professional and personal development.
