Role description

As an experienced Cyber OT professional you will deliver complex and robust solutions across the full lifecycle of OT security engineering, including design, development, integration, testing, assurance, and in‑service support.

Your remit will include

  • Play a key role in the design, integration, and security testing of OT cybersecurity solutions.
  • Facilitate the development of cybersecurity assessment methodologies and identifying security requirements.
  • Manage the implementation of robust security risk management processes, including accreditation activities in collaboration with clients and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide OT cybersecurity governance, advice, and assurance to stakeholders.
  • Conduct security reviews, audits, and technical assessments.
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise input to business growth and development including proposals and technical contributions.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant OT security standards.

Here’s what you\’ll need

  • We would be delighted to hear from candidates with a mix of the following skills, experience and attributes.
  • An established or developing knowledge of OT cybersecurity within CNI or industrial/operational environments.
  • Understanding of OT/ICS technologies used across CNI sectors (e.g., SCADA, DCS, PLCs, RTUs, industrial networking, safety systems).
  • Experience with security engineering technologies (e.g., endpoint protection, firewalls, IDS) across IT and OT networks.
  • Familiar with implementing standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27000 series, MITRE ATT&CK, and NIS/NIS2 regulations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable explaining threat‑based and risk‑informed security considerations in clear business terms, enabling risk owners to make proportionate and well‑informed decisions.
  • Understanding of design principles relating to operational safety, reliability, resilience, and secure system lifecycle management.
  • Awareness of cloud/edge integration into OT environments.
