Overview
In this role you will lead the delivery of multi-disciplinary electrical engineering projects within Jacobs’ Building Services team, guiding teams to meet scope, schedule, cost and quality.
You will mentor staff, plan resources, and manage client communications, contributing to strategic activities such as recruitment and policy development.
You will represent Jacobs in client meetings and help win future work while working on diverse projects across sectors.

Responsibilities
- Lead the functional delivery of projects ensuring time, cost and quality targets are met
- Manage and mentor engineers, support staff development and resource planning
- Check calculations and ensure high-quality outputs
- Manage client communications, expectations and value-adding opportunities
- Represent Jacobs in client meetings and support business development and project acquisition
- Assist with recruitment, budgeting and policy development
- Deliver high-quality, innovative multidisciplinary solutions
- Contribute to sustainability and inclusion initiatives within the team
- Key requirements
- Proven project design experience in building services electrical engineering
- Degree in Building Services Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Proficient in Revit MEP, Auto CAD, Dialux, Amtech
- MCIBSE / MIET CEng accreditation or actively working towards it
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations
- Experience in sustainable technology integration
