Responsibilities
- Power system modelling and model verification.
- Feasibility studies, including load flow and fault level assessments.
- Determining equipment performance specifications.
- Grid Code compliance studies.
- Interconnection and impact studies.
- Producing clear and concise technical reports.
- Contributing technical input and level‑of‑effort estimates to proposals.
- Delivering study activities, including technical support for proposals, modelling, simulations, results analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues in the UK and globally on studies relating to transmission, distribution, renewables, and industrial systems.
- Supporting projects integrating low‑carbon technologies into the network.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering.
- Membership of a recognised professional institution/organisation.
- Proficient in power system modelling and analysis using DIgSILENT, PSS/E, ETAP and PSCAD software.
- Previous work experience in power systems, utility and renewable projects.
