Overview

The Water Catchment Management team seeks a recognised Dams and Reservoir water management industry expert to lead and drive an extensive programme of high‑profile projects across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities
- Technical leadership and governance on all projects.
- Support staff at a project level to deliver high‑quality, technically robust dam engineering deliverables.
- Oversee and deliver technical reviews.
- Collaborate with the wider Jacobs business and client technical, legal and commercial matters associated with reservoirs.
- Develop and mentor colleagues and peers, providing technical guidance and support to reservoir engineers working towards appointment to the SE or ARPE panels.
- Provide subject matter expertise and input to sales and operational teams to support business development opportunities, including bid support.
Qualifications
- Appointed to the All Reservoirs Panel of Engineers, or have the experience and qualifications to apply for the All Reservoirs Panel in the future.
- Experience of inspecting embankment dams.
- Knowledge of embankment dam behaviour, monitoring and surveillance.
- A well‑respected industry profile with links to industry and academia.
- Chartered with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
- Ability to foster and grow a culture of professional and personal development across all levels of the business.
- A record of publications (journal articles, book chapters, conference papers).
