Partnering with industry leaders including United Utilities, Anglian Water, Thames Water, and Severn Trent Water, you will take the lead on projects that safeguard essential resources, support communities, and elevate performance standards across the sector.
To support our expanding UK portfolio and future growth ambitions, we are looking for Senior Water Networks Engineers/Modellers to join our team. This hybrid role can be based from any of our UK offices, working as part of our diverse, collaborative, and forwardâthinking UK team.
Our Water Networks teams operate nationwide, delivering expertise across the full spectrum of water and nonâinfrastructure projectsâfrom feasibility assessments and optioneering to operational support, optimisation, systems integration, and the development of smart network solutions.
You will have the opportunity to lead a diverse range of projects, including water trading, capital design, water quality modelling, network design, zonal studies, leakage optimisation, and model maintenance. You will apply industryâleading solutions and be encouraged to introduce innovative approaches. In addition, you will support and mentor local teams while contributing to the continued growth of our UK water business.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the technical delivery of projects within programme and budget.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in project delivery.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, technical support and quality assurance to the local team.
- Ensure highâquality project delivery from yourself and your team, meeting budget, timeline, and client expectations.
- Develop and implement methodologies, guidance documents, and templates for engineering and modelling projects.
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and add value.
- Work collaboratively with multiâdisciplinary teams internally and externally.
- Contribute to tendering process including proposal writing and cost estimate.
Essential Skills And Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of water network operations, hydraulic modelling, optioneering, and engineering design.
- Experience in network modelling using at least one software package Synergi Water/Liquid, InfoWorks WS Pro, or EPANET.
- Proven experience of working independently and within a team on project delivery.
- Ability to present technical findings clearly to both technical and nonâtechnical audiences.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical information confidently and clearly with technical and nonâtechnical audience.
- Excellent writing skills including engineering report, guidance document and proposal.
- Strong problemâsolving mindset with the ability to address complex challenges.
- Proficient in numerical analysis and data interpretation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
- Proven ability to deliver projects within time and budget.
- Chartered engineer or working towards chartership.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience in GIS packages.
- Experience in visualization such as Power BI, Tableau, Esri etc.
- Experience in coding and tool development.
- Project management and financial experience.
- Experience working in a global delivery or consultancy environment.
