Your impact includes:
- Delivering baseline watercourse characterisation and assessments.
- Coordinating Water Environment EIAR chapters for major infrastructure and flood management projects.
- Checking and reviewing Biodiversity Net Gain assessments for watercourses, developing options for enhancements.
- Developing concepts, ideas and designs for river restoration.
- Supporting technical delivery projects in liaison with contractors and regulators.
- Field-based work including hydrological surveys and monitoring.
- Ensuring environmental deliverables and financial performance of projects are maintained to a high standard.
- Collaborating with other design disciplines to ensure the overall integrity of designs.
- Ensuring compliance with H&S regulations and promoting a culture of caring within the team.
Hereâs what youâll need:
- Degree/MSc qualified in Environmental Science, Earth Science, Geography.
- Chartered or focused on achieving Chartered status.
- Demonstrable experience of working across a number of sectors.
- Proven track record in delivering technical reviews, able to programme, run and complete highâquality environmental assessments.
- Excellent understanding of key environmental legislation, policy and issues.
- Collaborative approach to working with and supporting the personal development of colleagues and peers.
