Your impact Jacobs are looking for Project Planners who will lead and manage programme schedules in technical consultancy services to major clients in the E\’P sector delivering a range of multi‐disciplinary projects. As a Project Planner, you\\\’ll be working closely with project managers, engineers and the commercial team to ensure programmes are logic driven, credible, and contractually compliant. The work is varied, fast‐paced and genuinely important to how decisions are made.Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain fully logic‐linked P6 programmesBaseline, update and progress schedules to agreed timelinesProduce monthly updates, narratives and progress reportsIdentify critical path, float issues and key programme risksSupport change control and compensation eventsRun programme integrity checks and resolve logic or constraint issuesWork with the commercial team on time‐impact assessmentsSupport budget planning and cost estimation when neededFlag potential delays and recommend corrective actionsChallenge incomplete inputs and ensure timely progress updatesMaintain programme documentation, reports and change logsEnsure compliance with Jacobs\\\’ planning standards and proceduresAttend meetings and present programme updates when requiredConduct post‐project reviews and contribute to process improvementsHere\’s what you\\\’ll need A strong understanding of Primavera P6 – Confident, hands‐on userUnderstanding of – Critical Path & Float, Activity Relationships, Baseline management, Filters / Layouts, Import / Export Programmes, Activity Codes, CalendarsA strong understanding of schedule integrity principles (DCMA / Best Practice)Experience in creating impact / claim programmes is desirableKnowledge of NEC forms of contract will be beneficialWhy Jacobs?
