Our Graduate Development Programme is a structured two‑year scheme designed to support your development at the beginning of your Jacobs career journey. Through blended learning, mentoring, progress reviews and networking, you will become competent across four key focus areas: human skills, consulting skills, championing our strategy, and your passions. You’ll customize your learning journey to reflect your specific interests, career goals and technical skillset, with a large portion of learning delivered on‑the‑job.
You will work on world‑class projects within our Tunnelling and Ground Engineering business. Reporting to a team lead in the Tunnels discipline, you will be a key resource on a range of internal and external projects, from pipejacks to complex underground caverns, employing empirical methods to 3D FE analyses. Work may involve structural and/or geotechnical tasks.
- Use technological advances to improve quality, results and efficiency.
- Prepare designs and drawings.
- Write technical reports.
- Participate in internal technical and professional activities.
- Proactively pursue career development.

- Working toward a Degree or Masters level qualification in Tunnelling, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering or Structural Engineering.
