Join a team of over 70 soil and contamination specialists based throughout the UK and Europe, providing strategic advice and innovative solutions to support our clients' environmental objectives. Possible projects include agricultural land classification (ALC), soil classification, soil resource management, peatland management/restoration, environmental research, environmental impact assessment, and ecosystem restoration/landscaping support.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver highâquality consultancy services.
- Design and deliver soil surveys.
- Prepare streamlined, highâquality reports and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and team members.
- Maintain upâtoâdate knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Foster and develop relationships with clients, ensuring success and ongoing growth of market share.
- Provide safety leadership aligned with our Beyond Zero values and culture of caring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Geography, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in soil science consultancy, including the delivery of surveys and reporting.
- Proven track record in supporting infrastructure projects throughout their full lifeâcycle.
- Solid understanding of best practice and relevant guidance in soil science.
- Good digital data manipulation and assessment skills, including GIS expertise.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastâpaced environment.
- Chartered or working towards Chartership.
