We partner with key clients including regulated water companies, the Environment Agency, and local authorities to deliver programmes that safeguard communities, enhance the natural environment, and ensure long-term infrastructure resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the NEC4 ECC Project Manager, making clear, fair, and impartial contract decisions and ensuring projects are delivered compliantly and efficiently.
  • Manage early warnings, compensation events, programme acceptance, and instructions to keep momentum throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead coordination between contractors, designers, planners, and commercial teams; review programmes in detail—including logic, float, and critical path—to create robust, achievable plans.
  • Take a proactive approach to risk management, facilitate risk reduction meetings, and support the development of Scope / Works Information.
  • Oversee commercial performance to ensure value for money, build strong client relationships, and lead key project meetings with confidence.
  • Drive innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement, taking on additional NEC4 ECC Project Manager responsibilities when required.

Qualifications

  • NEC3/4 ECC Project Manager Accreditation.
  • Proven recent experience administering NEC3/4 ECC contracts.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • APM qualification or chartership (or working towards it).

Desirable

  • Experience working with the Environment Agency, regulated water companies, or local authorities.
  • Background in flood alleviation or environmental schemes.

Hybrid Working & Hours

This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office, with travel to various client sites as part of the hybrid policy. Working hours are 40 hours per week.
