Your impact: As a key member of our Bridges and Structures team, you’ll help lead our transformation into a solutions-focused provider, leveraging new technologies, digital processes, and lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and deliver greater value to our clients. With a strong focus on sustainability and decarbonisation, you’ll apply your advanced technical engineering, interpersonal, and organisational skills to support the delivery of bridges & structures solutions across highways, rail, aviation, energy, and power sectors.
Key Deliverables
- Lead and mentor teams in structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender, preliminary and detailed designs, and the production of contract documents and technical reports.
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing data-driven, automated, and standardised solutions to improve project efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to deliver integrated services and high-quality sustainable outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with our UK & Europe, and Global Integrated Delivery teams to optimise resources and ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage and maintain client relationships representing Jacobs’ wide offerings to the sector.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related discipline).
- A professional qualification ICE/IStructE Chartered or equivalent with the ambition to progress to Fellowship status.
- Project and/or discipline management and leadership skills related to bridge design (or other disciplines).
- Strong technical design skills.
