What you’ll do
The Sustainability and Environmental Services team, part of the Water and Environment business, is looking for a Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join them based in Birmingham. You will contribute to advising clients on sustainability issues including renewable energy, low carbon economies, climate change impacts, waste and resources management, sustainability and environmental risk management. You will join the Jacobs Graduate Development Programme (GDP) to develop across four focus areas: human skills, consulting skills, championing our strategy, and your passions. The GDP is designed to tailor your learning journey to reflect your interests, career goals and technical skillset, with on‑the‑job learning and mentorship to shape meaningful experiences and projects.
- Work within the Water and Environment business to provide strategic consulting on sustainability issues
- Assist with environmental management systems, carbon and energy management, waste and resource management
- Participate in on‑the‑job learning, supported by your manager and mentor
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver outcomes and solutions for complex challenges
What you’ll need
- Be working towards a relevant Degree or Master’s level qualification in Environmental Science, Geography, Economics or Sustainability
- A flexible self-starter who is keen to drive your career forward
- Adaptable to change, with a thirst for learning new things
- You must have the permanent right to work in the UK
