Graduate Electrical Engineer – Aviation (London, Reading and Manchester). Based in Jacobs’ offices in the UK, the role forms part of the Aviation discipline within Transportation. Start date: September 2026.

About The Opportunity

Jacobs is a market leader in the transportation sector, working with clients including National Highways, Transport for Scotland, Manchester Airport Group, Heathrow, HS2, the Welsh Government and more. You will join a talented, multicultural and high-performing team focusing on Aviation. The team is fully integrated and collaborative across locations.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior engineers and directors in delivering multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Contribute to civil engineering design, problem solving, site work and client collaboration to inform decision making.
  • Work within the Aviation team to develop civil engineering skills within an Aviation environment.

What You’ll Need

  • Working towards a Degree or Masters in Electrical Engineering or Aviation Engineering.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach to developing your career.
  • Adaptable to change with a desire to learn new things.
  • Permanent right to work in the UK.
