In this role, you'll help shape the future of Scotland's transport infrastructure by working directly alongside BEAR Scotland to develop safe, sustainable and technically robust bridge and structural solutions.

Your expertise will influence critical decisions, helping extend asset life, improve resilience and deliver better outcomes for road users and communities.

You'll be trusted to bring sound engineering judgement, challenge conventional thinking and identify smarter ways of working.

Whether improving existing structures, solving complex design challenges or introducing more efficient digital approaches, your contribution will have a direct impact on project performance and client success.

Working as an integrated member of the BEAR Scotland team, you'll help deliver bridge and structural engineering solutions from feasibility through to detailed design, providing trusted technical advice and solving complex infrastructure challenges.

You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, influence project delivery, and identify smarter ways to improve efficiency through digital engineering, automation and innovation.

This role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact on Scotland's transport network while benefiting from the support, expertise and career opportunities of Jacobs' wider Bridges & Structures community across Scotland and the UK.

With exposure to projects spanning highways, rail, aviation, energy and power, you'll play a key role in delivering sustainable, practical and technically excellent outcomes for clients and communities alike.

Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience delivering bridge and/or structural engineering projects.

Strong technical engineering and design capability.
