Our Jacobs Digital Cyber team creates, delivers and integrates innovative complex Cyber OT solutions for Critical National Infrastructure industries such as Power Generation, Energy Storage, Transmission & Distribution, Water, Rail, Aviation, Highways and Defence. This programme and project delivery role will lead a diverse portfolio of high‑profile, high‑value solutions across the UK energy sector, delivering the full spectrum of security engineering activities.
Responsibilities
- Technical Delivery: Design and build security solutions for infrastructure such as substations, data centres, access control systems, SCADA, CCTV, backup, monitoring, endpoint protection and firewalls. Develop solutions for the provision of data centre hosting in a secure and resilient environment suitable for critical national infrastructure, including transmission OT network and connectivity to public cloud services.
- Framework Management: Provide leadership to Jacobs team and client stakeholders; review, validate and approve Go/No Go decisions; develop robust requirement‑management strategies; project‑manage and mitigate emerging risks; interface with key customers and stakeholders, scheduling and planning emerging solutions requirements; represent Jacobs in all client engagements to achieve cross‑market growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- Good understanding of Operational Technology and Cybersecurity.
- Established experience with Critical National Infrastructure operators/utility industry.
- Professional project and programme management experience delivering complex, multi‑disciplinary portfolios.
- Excellent stakeholder management, comfortable collaborating from operational delivery through to C‑suite.
- Business growth mindset to identify and drive innovation and broaden framework scope.
- Commercial focus with a sound knowledge of contract and change control management.
