Join our growing Cyber Security team delivering high-impact work across large-scale national infrastructure projects. You’ll help organisations protect essential services by shaping secure, resilient IT environments that underpin energy, water, environment, transport, and defence sectors.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll act as a senior cyber voice within complex programmes – building trust with clients, influencing key decisions, and ensuring security is embedded pragmatically and risk-based.
  • You’ll lead cyber security activities across client engagements, combining hands-on delivery with strategic advisory.
  • You’ll guide the design and implementation of secure solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory expectations.
  • You’ll play a visible role in client engagement, including pre-sales, shaping opportunities from a cyber perspective.
  • Internally, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to project leadership, and support the development of others.

Qualifications

  • Proven solid experience in cyber security within IT infrastructure or complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical understanding across infrastructure, networks, cloud, and security domains.
  • Experience leading or contributing to client engagements, including pre-sales or shaping solutions.
  • Ability to balance hands-on delivery with governance, assurance, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
  • Experience mentoring or leading others within project environments.

Benefits and Working Arrangements

This is a full-time, permanent role, UK based, hybrid (2-3 days/week) aligned to a Jacobs office, with occasional business travel across the UK. Full-time employment is based on a 40-hour working week, with emphasis on work-life balance and flexibility and flexi-time available.
