Our Water Catchment Management team is looking for a Principal Fluvial Geomorphologist to support ongoing business wins and future development aspirations. The role is integral to the team, delivering complex solutions across water utilities, rivers, coastal, highways and energy sectors.
Responsibilities
- Baseline watercourse characterisation and assessment of impacts from water company activities, flood risk management structures and large infrastructure.
- Coordinate and review Water Environment EIAR chapters for major infrastructure and flood management projects across the UK and Ireland.
- Develop, check, review and approve Biodiversity Net Gain assessments for watercourses and develop options for enhancements.
- Create conceptual solutions and designs for river restoration.
- Facilitate the technical delivery of projects in liaison with contractors and regulators.
- Conduct and deliver field‑based solutions including hydrological surveys and monitoring.
- Support and collaborate with multi‑disciplined catchment management teams.
- Ensure delivery of environmental deliverables and financial performance of projects.
- Work with design teams to ensure governance, change management and milestones align with deliverables.
