Your impact

Recognised as industry leaders in the development, design, delivery and integration of innovative complex Cyber OT solutions to Critical National Infrastructure industries such as Power Generation, Energy Storage, Transmission & Distribution, Water, Rail, Aviation, Highways, and Defence. Our Jacobs Digital Cyber team continues to see unprecedented growth and increasing market share, addressing our client’s critical challenges, supporting digitalisation and security.

In this newly created Programme and Project delivery role you will lead a diverse portfolio of significant high profile, high value solutions across a UK wide framework within the Energy sector, delivering the full spectrum of security engineering activities – design, development, integration, delivery and in-service support of complex technical projects.

Your remit will include developing, facilitating and managing:

  • Technical Delivery: Design and build of security solutions to be deployed into infrastructure such as substations, data centres/data rooms, access control systems (AACS), SCADA systems, CCTV, implementing solutions for backup, monitoring, endpoint protection and firewalls. Develop solutions for the provision of data centre hosting in a secure and resilient environment suitable for critical national infrastructure (CNI) including Transmission OT network and connectivity to public cloud services.
  • Framework Management: Provide highly visible leadership to both our Jacobs team and all client stakeholders, ensuring effective, collaborative communication, fostering a culture of partnership. Review, validate and approve Go/No Go decisions, developing a best team approach across portfolios and programmes. Ensure the development, validation and scope of projects/packages through the implementation of robust requirement management strategies. Project manage and mitigate emerging risks and challenges, developing and implementing robust solutions to ensure future proofing. Highly visible key customer and stakeholder interface identifying, scheduling and planning emerging solutions requirements and pipeline, influencing the growth and success of the Framework operating plan. Represent the 'whole' of Jacobs during every client engagement to achieve cross market growth.

What you’ll need

We would be delighted to hear from candidates who can demonstrate a real mix of the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Established experience of the Critical National Infrastructure operators/utility industries.
  • Project and Programme Management professional with experience in the delivery of complex multi-disciplined portfolios.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience, comfortable collaborating at all levels from operational delivery through to c-suite, able to foster robust working relationships.
  • A business growth mindset able to identify and drive innovation into current and emerging solutions to broaden scope of Framework. Introducing and showcasing the wider Jacobs capability footprint and global reach back available.
  • Commercially focused with a sound knowledge of both contract and change control management.
