Your impact

Jacobs is looking for Senior Project Planners to support and coordinate programme schedules for major clients in the Energy & Power sector. You'll contribute to a wide range of multi‐disciplinary projects and work closely with project managers, engineers and commercial colleagues to develop programmes that are clear, robust and aligned with project requirements. The work is varied, fast‐paced and plays an important role in supporting informed decision‐making. You will prepare monthly updates and progress reports, highlight potential delays, suggest appropriate actions, and share updates at project meetings when required. You will also support continuous improvement by contributing to regular reviews during and after projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, develop and maintain logic‐linked programmes in Primavera P6.
  • Establish, update and track schedules in line with agreed timelines.
  • Identify critical path, float and key programme risks.
  • Support change control processes and compensation event assessments.
  • Carry out programme integrity checks and help resolve logic or constraint issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the commercial team on time‐impact assessments.
  • Support cost estimation and budget‐planning activities where required.
  • Gather and consolidate timely progress inputs from project teams.
  • Maintain programme documentation, reports and change logs.

Here's what you'll need

  • Experience using Primavera P6 or other scheduling / planning software.
  • Managing and reporting compensation events.
  • Ability to apply recognised planning methods, including critical path analysis, baselining and schedule quality checks.
  • An eye for detail and a structured approach to problem‐solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and commercial teams.
