You’ll work on everything from strategic water resource planning to the design and delivery of new and upgraded assets. Responsibilities

As an engineer at Jacobs, you’ll contribute to high-profile projects across water, wastewater, flood management, and environmental protection, delivering value to communities. You’ll work on everything from strategic water resource planning to the design and delivery of new and upgraded assets. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental experts to tackle diverse technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the water or wastewater engineering industry
  • Minimum of an accredited Honours STEM Degree (NFQ Level 8) and working towards Chartership or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable technical or design skills
  • Experience of, or ability to demonstrate, mentoring or supporting junior staff
  • Interest in future technologies and knowledge about challenges within industry, including data, carbon and sustainability
  • Understanding/awareness of Project Management principles including scheduling, budgeting and contracts
