Overview
In this role you will lead Jacobs’ Birmingham surveying capability, delivering high-quality topographic and reality capture work while shaping client strategies and project outcomes.
You will combine hands-on surveying expertise with team leadership, mentoring, and business growth, contributing to major infrastructure programs across the UK.
You will work with cross-functional teams to advance digital surveying delivery and client solutions, driving impactful projects in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Birmingham surveying and reality capture capability
- Manage and deliver a broad range of survey projects
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and project teams
- Provide technical oversight and ensure high-quality survey deliverables
- Advise on survey methodologies, technologies and data solutions
- Support business growth and identify new opportunities
- Mentor and develop survey professionals within the team
- Key requirements
- Extensive experience in land surveying, geomatics and reality capture
- Proven ability to deliver topographical and laser scanning surveys
- Strong knowledge of point cloud registration and 3D data workflows
- Experience planning, managing and reviewing survey projects
- Proficiency with industry-standard survey processing software
- Excellent client-facing and team leadership skills
- Qualification in Land Surveying, Geomatics or a related discipline
- Professional membership of a relevant Chartered Institution
- A full UK driving licence
