Your impact
- Provide technical advice and support in environmental permitting, management systems, and compliance services to clients across water utilities, chemicals, and manufacturing in the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
- Work with a diverse portfolio of high‑profile clients, contributing to transformative project solutions across large and complex estates and processes.
- Deliver practical and strategic support, improving client performance in environmental management, compliance, governance, auditing, and permitting.
Remit and responsibilities
- Assess clients’ processes, draft permit applications, and complete relevant BTC assessments and management plans.
- Provide technical expertise on environmental management systems and conduct compliance audits.
- Engage regulators to secure successful outcomes for clients.
- Build strong, trusting relationships across diverse client teams.
- Influence environmental outcomes, community value, and long‑term sustainability.
- Develop internal and external network, maintain positive client relationships, and contribute to work‑winning activities where appropriate.
- Take accountability for time, cost, and quality of project outcomes.
Qualifications and attributes
- Graduate or MSc in Environmental Science, Geography, Environmental Engineering.
- Chartered or working toward chartered status (CIWEM ISEP).
- Track record of producing and delivering environmental permits for utilities and major infrastructure projects.
- Experience with Best Available Techniques assessments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills in environmental management support for infrastructure and design projects.
