Overview

As BIM Information Manager, you will anchor digital delivery for multi-disciplinary projects in Jacobs Cities & Places. You’ll ensure a single, reliable information source, reducing rework through coordinated models and data. You’ll oversee CDE governance, ISO 19650 alignment, and collaborative workflows across teams. This role offers exposure to large-scale infrastructure programs and a chance to shape how BIM unlocks value for clients. You’ll work in a hybrid setup from Birmingham and drive measurable improvements in delivery quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare BIM documentation and asset information requirements
  • Manage project information within the CDE per ISO 19650 and internal processes
  • Coordinate digital delivery of models and data from planning to close-out
  • Ensure effective information sharing across project teams and stakeholders
  • Oversee model setup, audits, data integration and QA to meet standards
  • Maintain ISO 19650 and Jacobs Information Management processes
  • Establish and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE)
  • Lead or support coordination meetings and manage federated models
  • Perform clash detection and resolution across the project lifecycle
  • Support teams with BIM tools and processes, including training
  • Contribute to improving BIM workflows and digital delivery efficiency

Key requirements

  • 5 years’ BIM/digital delivery experience in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and its practical application
  • Experience contributing to BIM delivery on complex, multidisciplinary projects
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks
  • Exposure to additional tools (e.g., Civil 3D, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Revizto, ProjectWise, Forma) is beneficial
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Eligibility for SE clearance or clearance if working on defense projects
  • Hybrid working availability (2 days/week in Birmingham)
