Responsibilities

  • Strategy and consulting.
  • Environmental and economic regulation.
  • FEED – Front-end engineering design of, solids handling, municipal sewage sludge treatment digesters, pre-treatment processes along with associated mechanical systems, plant and equipment.
  • Engineering analysis and modelling including CFD, thermals and heat transfer.
  • Detail design and systems integration of mechanical process equipment, storage tanks, mixing systems, heat exchangers and boilers.
  • Asset management and planning.

What you\’ll need / Qualifications

  • We would be delighted to hear from candidates coming from bioresources, wastewater, chemical/oil and gas, composting, food waste, municipal solid waste, or food processing industries, with a blend of the following experience
  • Biomass processing
  • Design of digesters, pre-treatment, or associated equipment.
  • Design of solids handling processes, odour control, composting, drying, biosolids and aerobic processes, anaerobic digestion
  • Design of municipal sewage sludge treatment facilities.
  • Emissions to air mitigation
  • Design of odour control and abatement systems.
  • Odour/methane emissions modelling and sampling
  • Relevant academic qualifications, such as a bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering
