Our client has a new opportunity for a Senior Scenic Project Manager to join their creative team, delivering exceptional scenic builds for high-profile live events. Leading complex scenic productions from concept through to onsite delivery, you'll ensure creativity, quality and attention to detail are reflected in every project. With significant experience in scenic construction and project management within the live events industry, you'll confidently manage budgets, logistics, technical drawings and client relationships. You'll have strong knowledge of construction materials and finishes, alongside proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software to produce accurate construction drawings and project documentation. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers and clients, you'll lead venue transformations to the highest standard while balancing creative ambition with commercial awareness. Your Typical Workday:
- Maintain excellent client communications in person and remotely to build relationships and confidence
- Receive and analyse client briefs with a willingness to ask lots of questions
- Respond to client briefs with considered questions, suggestions and professional wisdom
- Work with other team members to develop responses to briefs, leveraging others' technical & creative excellence, growing others with your own knowledge
- Produce accurate, creative and well thought out drawings, quotations and proposals that answer client pain-points effectively
- Coordinate with the workshop, warehouse and technical departments, ensuring we deliver world class results
- Produce scenic build lists and construction documentation
- Lead onsite delivery, ensuring a high class finish
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive and thoughtful feedback
