We are looking for an experienced Senior Production Manager who can take full ownership of complex, multi-workstream productions from initial brief through to final delivery, while keeping clients confident when things move fast. This is a senior, client-facing position for someone accustomed to delivering large-scale, technically complex and high-profile productions where quality, attention to detail and reliability are critical.
The Role
- Youll take end-to-end ownership of productions, rather than simply coordinating individual elements. This includes technical planning, budgets, schedules, suppliers, crews, logistics, client communication and onsite delivery.
- Projects will vary considerably, from major conferences and large-scale brand productions through to smaller, high-profile events requiring exceptional attention to detail and quality of delivery.
- Youll manage several projects and stakeholders simultaneously, maintaining control as priorities and requirements change.
- When challenges arise close to delivery, youll be expected to remain calm, make decisions and keep both the client and delivery teams moving forward.
- You will also:
- Own production budgets, control costs and protect project margins
- Build strong relationships with blue-chip corporate clients
- Lead technical and production teams throughout project delivery
- Manage external suppliers, equipment and production resources
- Oversee productions from planning and load-in through show delivery and load-out
- Manage onsite changes to schedules, technical requirements and resources
- Ensure appropriate RAMS and health & safety documentation is in place
- Maintain high production and technical standards throughout
About You
Were particularly interested in people coming from live events, experiential, brand production, event agencies or production houses who combine strong technical understanding with commercial and client-facing ability. Youre likely to be working as a Production Manager, Senior Production Manager or technically focused Senior Project Manager within an agency or production environment, with genuine responsibility for the client, budget and final delivery.
You should have:
- Proven end-to-end ownership of large and complex productions
- Strong live event and technical production knowledge
- Experience working with high-profile or blue-chip corporate clients
- Excellent client and stakeholder communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and margins
- The ability to run several productions and workstreams simultaneously
- A calm, solutions-focused approach when working under pressure
- Experience leading technical teams, suppliers and production partners
- A strong focus on quality, outcomes and long-term client relationships
This role requires broader production experience than a purely venue-based AV support or broadcast/TV background. We need someone who has personally owned productions, budgets and client relationships and can demonstrate how they have successfully handled complex projects when plans have changed.
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to step into a role offering greater autonomy, larger and more complex productions and genuine ownership of key client relationships. Youll also be joining the production function at an important stage of its development, providing the opportunity to influence how projects are delivered and contribute to its continued growth across EMEA and internationally.
