Our client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Senior Bid Team Leader to join their team. Acting as the senior point of contact for Bid Team Administrators and the wider business, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the Bid team, ensuring workloads are managed efficiently, deadlines are met, and HR matters are handled effectively. Alongside leading the team, you will prepare detailed tenders, manage quotations and handovers, maintain CRM documentation, and support the wider sales function. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Senior Bid Team Lead to join an established business and play a key role in driving process improvements and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management and coordination of incoming requests to the department.
  • Initial review of all incoming bids, tenders and PQQs ensuring a high-level view of each requirement.
  • Identification, engagement and coordination of internal SMEs where necessary.
  • Point of escalation.
  • Regular engagement with business development to establish bid team forecast.
  • Responsible for sales process compliance with ISO 9001.
  • Management of the team and HR requirements including annual leave and absence.
  • Responsible for team training and professional development.
  • Supporting estimating, marketing and the wider sales team as required.
  • Sales document control.
  • Review, proof and copy edit where required draft bids, PQQs and presentations.
  • All other Bid Team Administrator tasks.

Administration Support: incoming calls; bid and handovers inbox; stationery; greet visitors (arrange meeting room, lunch etc).
