Looking to move your AV career away from being on-site every day? We're recruiting for a Helpdesk / VNOC Engineer to join a global AV support operation, providing remote technical support for enterprise audiovisual systems around the world. This is an excellent opportunity for either:
- An experienced AV Helpdesk or VNOC Engineer
- An AV Technician looking to progress into a remote technical support role
Please note: This position operates on a 24/7 rotating shift pattern, which is a non-negotiable requirement.
The Role
You'll become part of a specialist remote support team responsible for keeping mission-critical AV and Unified Communications systems operational for global customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing first-line remote technical support
- Diagnosing and resolving AV faults remotely
- Escalating issues to field engineers where required
- Supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom environments
- Managing service tickets through to resolution
- Liaising with customer IT, networking and facilities teams
- Performing firmware updates and remote system maintenance
- Supporting digital signage and AV management platforms
- Delivering excellent customer service while meeting SLAs and KPIs
We're Looking For

Experience with some of the following would be advantageous:
- Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Zoom Rooms
- Crestron, Extron or AMX
- Q-SYS, Biamp or Shure
- AV over IP
- Digital Signage
- Basic networking (IP, Multicast, Wireshark)
- Remote management platforms such as Xio Cloud, Poly Lens, Utelogy or Q-SYS Reflect
Most importantly, you'll enjoy problem-solving, communicating with customers and delivering excellent remote technical support.
