Our client is recruiting a Lead AV Engineer to take ownership of commissioning and technical delivery across high-profile AV projects, working between design, production and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning at the front end of projects in preparation for deployment
- Translate technical designs into full system configurations and documentation prior to factory testing and site works, including:
- Video systems
- Audio systems
- Wireless frequency coordination
- Firmware updates
- General equipment configuration
- UI and workflow testing
- AV/IT schedule reviews
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of three years’ experience in corporate AV environments
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of professional audio-visual systems
- Proven experience in event and performance spaces including audio, video and lighting (digital and analogue)
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Confident client-facing communication
- Strong organisational, documentation and time-management skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and collaborative
- Comfortable building relationships at all levels
Certifications and experience highly desirable:
- CTS (preferred)
- Crestron
- AMX
- DSPs (Biamp, Q-Sys, Sound Structure)
- Cisco and Poly video conferencing
- Dante networking
