We have a new opportunity searching for a Head of Lighting. You'll lead our most ambitious lighting projects, combining creative vision with strong technical expertise to elevate every client brief. With at least six years' experience in creative, client-facing lighting design, you'll guide projects from concept to delivery while mentoring the team and maintaining high technical standards. You'll work closely with clients to understand their goals, create impactful designs and ensure projects are delivered with both creative excellence and commercial awareness. Your leadership, communication skills and ability to develop talent will make you a key force within our organisation.
Your Typical Workday:
- Maintain excellent client communications in person and remotely to build relationships and confidence
- Receive and analyse client briefs with a willingness to ask lots of questions
- Respond to client briefs with considered questions, suggestions and professional wisdom
- Work with team members to develop responses to briefs, leveraging and growing their technical excellence whilst sharing your own
- Produce accurate and well thought out lighting quotations and proposals that answer client pain points effectively
- Work with clients to fine-tune briefs, ensuring we deliver world-class results
- Lead and motivate lighting teams across multiple projects
- Produce equipment specifications and technical documentation
- Lead on-site lighting delivery, collaborating across multiple technical departments
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive and thoughtful feedback
- Adapt swiftly to changing requirements while keeping teams aligned

The Role Details:
- Reports To: Director of Production
- Schedule: Core Hours - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with flexibility required for evening & weekend working
- Location: Hertfordshire (25 min from central London)
- Salary: Dependent on experience
- Holiday: 30 Days including Bank Holidays
