We are looking for a keen and proactive AV Lead Engineer to help work on our most exciting and innovative new product. We are the UK market leader at what we do, with a tremendously professional delivery team. We will need all your professional engineering and commissioning experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and install audio-visual systems tailored to client specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair audio-visual equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Configure and maintain networked AV systems, including VoIP and CCTV setups.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Provide technical support during events, ensuring seamless operation of all AV components.
- Document system configurations, maintenance procedures, and project progress.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of senior installation engineer / final commissioning engineer in complex, integrated Audio Visual environments.
Required Skills
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our core technologies, and be highly confident in installing, commissioning, and demonstrating them.
- Be proactive and enthusiastic about learning new technologies, including our bespoke systems and unique industry.
- Provide feedback to our R&D team to help ensure that Product solutions stay aligned with our customers' requirements.
- Lead the delivery of our complex projects on time and within budget, anywhere in the UK.
- Collaborate with third-party trades and support our Project Management team with site feedback.
- Work with our core engineering team to ensure you are familiar with our BAU solutions and to keep them updated with developments.
- Work with desktop developers, testers, delivery managers, customer technical support, and customer relationship colleagues to relay improvements or challenges with delivery.
- Coordinate with our internal teams to ensure the required hardware, resources, and back-end systems are in place to deliver on time.
- Support our Venue Techs with customer training and occasional hands-on operation for service.
- Write RAMS and ensure all site activities are safe and that our high standards are upheld.
- Generally, get involved and work hands-on with a small, fast-moving team.
