Overview

The New Kranji Water Reclamation Project isn’t just a national milestone—it is poised to become one of the largest and most advanced water reclamation facilities in the world. With an ADWF of 550 MLD, PWWF of 1,650 MLD, and the ability to generate 410 MLD of high‑grade Recycled Water, this S$2.3 billion program places Singapore firmly among the global leaders in sustainable water technology. Around the world, only a select handful of mega‑facilities operate at comparable scales. The New Kranji aims not just to match them, but to set new benchmarks in energy efficiency, system integration, treatment innovation, and resilience‑focused engineering.

Responsibilities

As we move from Preliminary to Detailed Design in July 2026, we are seeking an Engineering Manager with the ambition and capability to shape a project of international significance. This is a rare opportunity to influence a program that will be studied, referenced, and replicated globally for decades to come. In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with our renowned water technologists and multidisciplinary leaders
  • Drive engineering excellence in one of the most complex and integrated treatment ecosystems ever developed
  • Set new standards in resource recovery, circular water systems, and national‑scale resilience planning
  • Lead a high‑performing design team delivering a project that will become a global case study in sustainable infrastructure

Qualifications

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and registration as a Professional Engineer (PEB) and/or Chartered Engineer.
  • Minimum 15 years of proven experience in the design and construction of large and complex infrastructure projects. This includes procurement delivery strategies, tendering, and execution of works.
  • Experience in water treatment plant projects will be an added advantage.
