Project Manager – Water & Environment | NEC4 ECC Specialist
Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex water and environment infrastructure projects across the UK.
Working with clients including the Environment Agency, Local Authorities, and Water Utilities, you will play a central role in ensuring projects are delivered collaboratively, compliantly, and efficiently under NEC4 ECC frameworks.
Key responsibilities include
- Acting as an impartial NEC4 ECC Project Manager, administering contracts, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing commercial and programme performance.
- Leading risk management, driving innovation and sustainability, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout project lifecycles.
Required qualifications and experience
- NEC3/4 ECC PM Accreditation
- Experience administering NEC3/4 ECC contracts.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e. g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Proven track record in programme management, commercial delivery, and risk management.
- Strong NEC4 ECC experience across medium to high‑value, complex infrastructure contracts.
- Experience in working with the Environment Agency or local authorities is an advantage.
- Understanding or experience of working on flood alleviation schemes.
- APM Project Management Qualification; chartership of APM or another professional body is desirable.
Benefits and working conditions
- Hybrid 40‑hour week, combining remote work with site (office) based activity across a UK wide local geographic hub; requires two days in the office/client site per week.
