Your impact

Driven by our continued growth, increased market share and success, we’re expanding our Land Quality and Remediation team, of over 70 ground contamination specialists.

In this newly created role, as our Senior Associate Director you will contribute to the leadership of the growth and delivery of Land Quality, Remediation, Waste and Resource Efficiency services across the UK and Europe. You will provide strategic leadership at the interface of contaminated land management, remediation and waste regulation, helping clients address complex environmental, engineering and permitting challenges.

Working as an integrator across the Land Quality & Remediation and Waste & Resource Efficiency teams, you will combine technical leadership, business development, client management and project delivery to expand our remediation, waste and circular economy services.

Your remit will include:

Technical Leadership

  • T echnical leadership in contaminated land, remediation and waste management.
  • Advise on contaminated land risk management, waste regulation and sustainable materials reuse.
  • Lead delivery and quality assurance for complex remediation and materials management projects.
  • Provide expertise in areas such as:
    • oEnvironmental permitting (including compliance auditing)
    • oDfR and DoWCoP
    • oSoil reuse and materials management
    • oSoil and groundwater remediation
    • oHazardous waste management
  • Drive innovation, best practice and collaboration across Land Quality & Remediation and Waste & Resource Efficiency teams.
  • Lead major multidisciplinary remediation and waste management projects.
  • Ensure safe, compliant and commercially successful project delivery.
  • Manage technical risk, governance and quality assurance.
  • Project Verifier on strategic assignments, supporting development of integrated client solutions.

Business Development & Client Management

  • Develop growth strategies, securing new opportunities across UK and Europe.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, regulators and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead major bids, frameworks and strategic pursuits.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to clients and support key account growth.
  • Promote industry engagement, publications and thought leadership.

Capability Development

  • Develop integrated service offerings and high-performing teams.
  • Mentor and develop technical specialists and future leaders.
  • Support recruitment, retention and succession planning.
  • Build a collaborative, high-performing culture with a strong focus on health, safety and wellbeing.
