Our two‑year Graduate Development Program is designed to accelerate your growth as you begin your Jacobs career. Through blended learning, mentoring, progress reviews and networking, you’ll build capability across four key areas: human skills, consulting skills, championing our strategy, and developing your personal passions. You’ll tailor your learning journey to your interests, career goals and technical strengths — creating a graduate experience that’s uniquely yours. Much of your development will come through real project work, supported by your manager and mentor to ensure you gain the experiences that matter most.

The Graduate Development Program isn’t just a steppingstone — it’s a launchpad. You’ll gain the tools, exposure and support to unlock your potential, working on meaningful projects and collaborating with industry leaders to deliver solutions to complex challenges.

We are seeking to hire a talented Graduate Risk Manager to join our growing Risk Management function. Our team helps clients deliver major projects and programmes with confidence. We work across a variety of sectors, supporting organisations to identify, assess and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. By embedding structured risk approaches, we reduce uncertainty, improve resilience, and enable informed decisions to be made by senior leaders through insightful data.

As a Graduate Risk Manager, you will:

  • Gain hands‑on experience working on live projects in a client environment
  • Support the development and implementation of risk management strategies and processes
  • Learn how to identify risks and opportunities, analyse their impact and recommend solutions to mitigate or eradicate
  • Work alongside experienced risk professionals who will mentor and guide your development
  • Build the foundations for a successful career in risk management and project controls

We will provide structured training, professional development, and opportunities to grow your career while making a real impact on the projects you support.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Be working towards a relevant Degree or Master’s level qualification in Construction, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics or Risk
  • A flexible, proactive mindset and motivation to drive your career forward
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning
  • Permanent right to work in the UK
