Our Water & Environment business tackles flood risk management, climate resilience, ecosystem protection, and sustainable growth for clients such as regulated water companies, the Environment Agency, and local authorities. We seek a skilled NEC4 ECC Project Manager to lead and deliver complex infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and value.
Responsibilities
- Act as the NEC4 ECC Project Manager, making clear and impartial contract decisions while maintaining project compliance and efficiency.
- Lead early warnings, compensation events, programme acceptance, and instructions, sustaining momentum through the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate contractors, designers, planners, and commercial teams, reviewing programme detail – including logic, float, and critical path – to ensure robust, achievable plans.
- Take a proactive approach to risk management, facilitating risk reduction meetings and supporting the development of Scope / Works Information.
- Oversee commercial performance to ensure value for money, build strong client relationships, and lead key project meetings with confidence.
- Champion innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement across projects.
Qualifications
- Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- APM qualification or chartership (or working towards).
- Experience working with the Environment Agency, regulated water companies, or local authorities.
- Background in flood alleviation or environmental schemes.
