Your impact
As a Senior Civil Engineer you will lead the delivery of critical civil design packages and influence innovative, constructable solutions. From concept to construction, you’ll shape real‑world impact every day.
Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery of civil design solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure
- Lead detailed design in collaborative, contractor‑led environments, embedding constructability from day one
- Integrate safety, sequencing, access, and commissioning into designs to influence project outcomes
- Work directly with construction and commercial teams to solve challenges in real time on live projects
- Elevate standards through design assurance, quality reviews, and technical leadership
- Mentor developing engineers and play a key role in building the next generation of talent
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
- Experience delivering detailed design for water/wastewater infrastructure, ideally in D&B environments
- Strong understanding of UK design standards, specifications and regulatory frameworks
- Confidence to work with autonomy, sound judgement and accountability
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across design and construction teams
- Working toward or holding Chartered status (ICE or equivalent)
- Experience supporting live construction projects
- Knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
- Track record of mentoring or guiding junior engineers
- Familiarity with digital engineering tools and BIM environments
