Your impact: Jacobs has secured multiple multi-year Frameworks and Projects with leading Clients in the UK, Ireland and across the Globe. Our Water and Environment team is looking for skilled and highly motivated people that are looking to grow their careers in exciting new ways to deliver on these fantastic opportunities in the Water Industry and beyond.

Successful candidates will join our team of nearly 600 water professionals, who work on a range of high-profile projects. They will become part of a World Leading Company with excellent career prospects. You could be delivering project tasks, designs and in a multi-disciplinary, multi-company environment on water and wastewater infrastructure and facilities at various stages in the project life cycle, working within our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budget.

We are looking for experienced Electrical Engineers across various grades to join our offices in Belfast, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Warrington to reinforce our existing team and further support our frameworks with UK Water Companies.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Masters Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Achieved Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institution
  • Some experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Water and/or wastewater networks
  • Water and/or wastewater treatment works
  • Hydraulics
  • Mass water conveyance
  • Control philosophy
  • Enthusiasm to solve problems and enjoy working as part of a large multi-national company
  • Worked within multi-disciplinary teams, co-ordinating and supporting junior staff
  • Enthusiasm to line manage
  • A proactive attitude with a keenness to help strengthen Client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business
