Job Description
In this Marketing Programme Manager role, you will lead key commercial processes and forums to deliver marketing excellence and achieve our commercial goals throughout the year.
You will support the marketing team in activating their brand plans by leading Product to Market, Stage Gate, Brand Planning, and Activation forums and processes end-to-end across brands and channels (retail and out of home). Your focus will be on maximizing input excellence at each stage, facilitating critical decision-making, and creating the regular cadence and rhythm required for these forums and processes in a fast-paced environment.
As part of the Marketing Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this is a highly visible and critical role requiring excellence in programme management. You will support brand teams and cross-functional partners, line manage one direct report, and contribute to marketing excellence at JDE Peets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the UK/I integrated brand planning process, ensuring cross-functional alignment and readiness for our annual conference.
- Coordinate the submission of UK/I brand planning inputs for the global calendar and 36-month planning process.
- Co-lead the monthly Activation Forum, managing the content calendar and coordinating inputs from category, shopper, and sales teams.
- Lead the first step of the monthly commercial process (M1), ensuring alignment of brand strategies and plans to meet commercial targets, and support performance tracking.
- Manage the Stage Gate process for UK & Ireland, coordinating agendas, pre-reads, and facilitating approval of brand activation plans.
- Chair the Product to Market monthly forum, ensuring timely delivery of innovation and renovation plans.
- Support marketing and finance teams in managing advertising and promotional expenditure.
- Assist the Marketing Director in building the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), coordinating inputs, and partnering with finance for NPD forecasts.
- Coordinate the Marketing Team meeting agendas, including quarterly offsites, to promote marketing excellence.
- Line manage one direct report, aligning priorities and supporting agility within brand teams.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Minimum of 3 years P2M experience in FMCG.
- Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Good commercial acumen, autonomous, problem solver, with a βcan doβ attitude.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Brand Management, Innovation, Sales, or Category Management.
