Job Description

JDE is the UK’s #2 branded coffee supplier, with a powerful portfolio including Tassimo, L’OR, Kenco, Millicano and more. With 30% market share in a £1.2bn category, the opportunity ahead is huge — especially within discount, wholesale & independent convenience. As our new National Account Controller, you’ll take the helm of our Discounter & Wholesale channel — one of the most strategically important, fastest-evolving parts of our business. This is your chance to drive transformation, unlock new routes to market, and build partnerships that set new standards in the coffee category.

What You’ll Lead

  • Shape and execute multi-year customer strategies.
  • Drive growth that outpaces the category by creating winning long-term plans across discounters, wholesale partners and high-street accounts.
  • Lead a high-performing commercial team managing 6 direct reports and a broader cross-functional team (Category & Supply Chain), championing capability development and best-in-class account management.
  • Build deep, influential customer relationships, creating breakthrough partnerships across a broad customer base, unlocking physical availability and distribution across multiple channels.
  • Own commercial performance by delivering NOS, GP, margin and cash targets, leading negotiations, shaping JBPs, optimising trade investment and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Be a strategic voice across JDE, sitting at the heart of the UK Sales Leadership team, influencing decisions, driving culture, and accelerating JDE’s capability as a challenger business.
